Reg Booka, of both Aboriginal and South Sea Islander descent, was one of the great Rugby League players that the Tweed Valley produced during the 20th Century.
Reg was the fullback and renowned goal-kicker in the Tweed All Blacks, founded in 1930 when local clubs excluded players of Aboriginal and South Sea Islander Heritage.
The All Blacks built a reputation for their exciting and speedy play, with the 1930’s side considered the best North Coast league side of their time.
