Son of John Henry Ferguson Brisbin and Ellen J. (Wright)

John (known as Jack) served in Papua New Guinea 31 July 1944 - 26 August 1945 with 15th Australian Works Company.

John and his brother James (known as Eddie) Edward Brisbin (service number Q131010) spent their final years together in a small cottage at 15 Brolga Street, Longreach Queensland. Both held jobs as Station Hands on cattle properties around Longreach and later as labourers.

They are both at rest in the Longreach Cemetary.
