The sudden death occurred at Bowen this week of Captain Robert Charles Bull who until recently, was associated with the V.D.C. at Townsville and Charters Towers. Before World War 11 the late Captain-Bull lived in Rockhampton where he was attached to the Railway Department. He Served on Gallipoli in the first world war, and was badly wounded. At the out-break of the last war he was soon in uniform again and he served throughout the war. Captain Bull arrived in Bowen, where he was negotiating the purchase of a hotel property.
