At the morning service, yesterday, Cannon Wheeler said - "I desire to pay my tribute of respect to the memory of Private Archibald David Dickson, who, during the past week has been reported as having died of illness while on active service. Archie, as most of us called him, will be greatly missed by a considerable section of this congregation, to whome he was very well known. He enlisted early in the war, and until he contracted the illness from which he ha died, he had enjoyed good health and immunity from wounds. He possessed a keen sense of fun, and will always be affectionately remembered for his unfailing good nature, and for his many humerous performances at our parochial entertainments. He was a scholar of St. James' Sunday School, and attended this church and possessed stirling qualaties of character, which won the sincere respect of those who new him best. "
