Call me Alf
Alf was born 6.3.1917 in Proserpine to George Samuel Casey & Eliza Edith Chalk.
Alf was given 3 crocodile eggs in 1963, with 1 hatching, it was named Charlie but later it was found out it was a female, Charlene.
Charlene was treated as a member of the family, watching TV with the family & went on regular road trips, visiting every pub from Rockhampton to Cairns. As Charlene grew it was necessary to house her outside in a large enclosure. In 1986 a feeding mishap saw Alf lose a hand & part of his arm.
Alf passed away On 1.11.2009 at the age of 92, with Charlene being left in his will to his son John, who has also put Charlene in his will. Charlene is 62 years old in 2026
