Colin Cathcart's son Ronald Houston Cathcart (d.2012) was my father. Colin went away to war in 1941. My father was just 13. Colin was present at the fall of Singapore, escaped but was a POW in Malaysia. He returned home to Bundaberg but always in ill health. He was a kind Grandfather and I thank him and honour him for all he did for our country.
