Colin
Colin was my grandfather's "baby" brother. Colin married and he had six children of his own and many grandchildren, who would know way more than me, so I hope they will add to these records.
Colin' served in WWII, Malayan Emergency and South Vietnam
He was very sporty played rugby and later had a farm in northern NSW. I just remember him as the kindest person. I was honoured to meet up with Uncle Colin and his wife Aunty Nell when they were on a cruise ship in 2007 docked in Auckland for a few hours and met my baby daughter. Colin told me stories about my grandfather who had passed away, and he insisted to give me money to buy my baby a pretty dress. I wish there had been time that day to ask him more about his life and service.
