QX12281 Lance Corporal (LCPL) Walter Charles Cave. Walter Cave enlisted in 1940 aged 27. He deployed with the 27th Brigade, 8 Division. He was reported missing with wereabouts unknown for months. Eventually it was determined that he was a Japanese prisoner of war in Malaya.
