HEROES OF THE GREAT WAR

COLLINS. — In loving memory of our dear nephews Privates G. H. and N. R. Collins, killed in action in France, May 3, 1917.

They left Australia in health and strength

To answer their country's call,

They gave their lives, they gave their best,

For you, for me, for all.

—Inserted by their sorrowing aunt and uncle. C. and W. Collins.

COLLINS.—In loving memory of our dear sons and brothers, No 6064, Private G. H. Collins, 27th Battalion, and No. 6065, Private N. R. Collins,. 27th Battalion, killed in action, France, May 3, 1917.

They fell! heroes in the deadly strife.

They laid down their lives for their country;

Fame was achieved, they had done their share

To win those laurels, rich and rare,

Which now adorn Australia's loyal race,

Not even time its glory can efface.

"They answered the call."

—Inserted by their loving parents and sisters. Borrika.

COLLINS. — In fond and loving memory of our dear nephews, Harry and Norman, who were killed in France on the 3rd May, 1917. They, like heroes, fell fighting for King and country. Inserted by their sorrowing aunt, E Macklin, Payneham.

COLLINS.—In loving memory of Private N. R. Collins, killed in action May 3, 1917.

I mourn for you, dear Norm,

But not with outward show.

To have kissed you once a last farewell,

Or touched your hand before you fell,

I could have better borne the blow

That touched my heart a year ago.

—Inserted by his sorrowing friend, L. Pfitzner.
