Bud
Frances Arthur Davy, know to all as Bud, passed away in the Proserpine Hospital on 21st December.
He was born 23rd April, 1917 in Selwyn in north west Queensland.
He was the 2nd son of Frank & Grace Davy who brought up 5 boys.
Bud was educated & left school at 14 to start at the Proserpine Sugar Mill. He worked there till he joined the Australian Army.
In WW2 he served in New Guinea & the Solomon Islands. Bud worked as at the PMG as line foreman until he retired. Bud lived at Conway Beach, he never married & is survived by 2 brothers.
