My Grandfather
Victor James Deller was born in Bundaberg, Queensland in 1918.
He was born to Mark and Mary Elizabeth Deller and was the youngest of 9 sons, and second youngest of 13 children.
All 8 older brothers were enlisted and sent off, but Victor didn't have to go.
He instead enlisted and went to Charleville, Queensland. His duties were to boil the water for the American soldiers showers etc in Charleville.
