John Frederick 'Jack' Dix was born on 4 July 1905 in Westbury on Severn, Gloucestershire.
He married Hilda Lavinia Lee on 13 December 1938 in Urbenville, New South Wales. He died on 10 November 1997 in Urbenville, New South Wales, at the age of 92, and was buried there.
