The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017. refer to pages 205 & 271. Prior to the wr he was a farmer of Kyogle NSW. He enlisted 28th June 1915 aged 23 years. He was serving with the 9th Infantry Battalion when he was cited for the award of the Military Medal. He survived the war, departing the UK for home 12th Apr 1919.
