Biography

Stanley Raymond KEANEY was born near Prahan in Victoria in 1895

His parents were Patrick KEANEY and Ann MORAN

He enlisted on 15th August, 1914 in the Field Artillery Brigade

Unit embarked from Melbourne on the Shropshire on 20th October 1914

He had previously served in the CMF in 22nd Field Artillery for 14 months

Stanley was Killed in Action on 9th April, 1917 in France
