My Great Uncle
Thomas Langhorne Gordon, Sapper. 2 AIF, 9th Division. Rat of Tobruk, El Alamein, Papua, Borneo. I knew him well when I was a child and teenager. He never attended school and spent his life as a farmer on the family station his father started between Taroom and Wandoan on the Condamine River. He died around 1987 and is buried on the old family property that was next to his farm.
