He was 20 and the son of Margaret Mewburn, of Boorowa, New South Wales, and the late John Mewburn.
His brother also fell and is commemorated on the same Menin Gate panel.
He was Private Albert George Ernest Mewburn-Service Number 2013A-Died 05/11/1917-Aged 23-17th Bn. Australian Infantry, A.I.F.
