Tom Henderson the Man
Dad was a funny bloke at times!
Serious, level headed & very generous!
Although never dwelled on the past & didn't discuss much about what he went through in the war until he was in his late 60's.
A private yet honest bloke, he loved fishing, it was his passion and as he aged he turned more to bowls.
Dad retired from work at the ripe old age 57!
Both mum & dad loved their holidays away from the wintry weather of Victoria to head North!
This occurred year after year, holidays playing bowls & the one armed bandits ...
A much simpler life back then!
How we miss you!!
Today dad would have turned 98.
