Friends of the late Rev. E. C. Walsh will regret to learn that he passed away at his home at Broadview on Wednesday, 15th November, after a brief illness, at the age of 64. Mr. Walsh had charge of the Peterborough Baptist Church from 1937 to 1942 and from here went to Gumeracha and thence, in April of this year, to his last charge of Broadview. A Tasmanian, he entered the Baptist ministry there in 1909 and came to Pt. Lincoln in 1928, where he stayed until 1937. A gracious and capable man and beloved pastor, Mr. Walsh was held in high esteem by all who knew him, and he will be sadly missed. Our sympathy is extended to his wife, and to Dorothy, Brian and Jan.
