Our dear DAD. ("Hoffy")

Our Dad, A kind, generous, honest and loving man anyone could have wished for in a father. Dad spent his life growing up in Mossman, Queensland and in his younger years living at Cooya Beach and his love for the beach never died.

Dad spent most of his working life at the Mossman Central Mill where many friendships were bonded and Mossman being a small town the love and friendship from all in the district has left us all with many memories that are treasured and will be with us always.

Dad also had a love for Pole Vaulting which he excelled in as he always set this event up at the May Day Sports which was held at the Mossman Showgrounds and I remember quiet well going with Dad down to the beach and getting sticks from the Mangroves that he used to Pole Vault with as they must have the flex in them to do the job.

Hoffy as Dad was most commonly known as, also had the voice of an angel as he loved his country music and could beat out a great tune to his old mate Slim Dusty's songs.

Mum (Grace), was the love of his life and they shared their lives with their six children, Rodney, Patricia, Joyce, Donald, Noela and Cliff - their many grandchildren and their great grandchildren.

Mum and Dad will be forever with us - Always remembered- Their daughter Patricia.
