George was the third of five children of Charles Justins (born 1880 in Jethro, Victoria) and Marion Jane Jinks (nee Henderson, born 1877 in Echuca, Victoria). Charles - a Bootmaker - married Marion (a Widow) in 1901 in Brisbane, QLD. In the 1920s, Charles and Marion moved to Burleigh Heads on the Gold Coast with their family - Charles was a Storekeeper.
George was a Motor Driver at Bilinga in Southport, QLD in 1927 when he married Doris (Dorrie) Pearl Nunn (born 1904 in Ipswich, QLD). The couple settled at Bilinga in Southport, QLD where George continued working as a Motor Driver. In December 1941 George enlisted in the Australian Army and served as a Private (Service No:Q102771) with NPBIPOD AASC until his Discharge in October 1943.
George and Dorrie continued to live at Bilinga, where George worked as a Motor Driver before moving to Burleigh Heads and working as a Truck Driver. By 1958 George and Dorrie had moved to Roma, QLD where George was Depot Superintendent until his death in 1968. Dorrie died in 1991 in Roma, QLD
