Roy C V Kemp
Roy enlisted in 1941 at the age of 30. He had a wife, Madge, and a young daughter, Delma. Prior to enlisting he worked as a dairy farmer in Woodford Queensland.
During the war he worked as a linesman in the Signals Corp along the Kokoda Track.
After the war, Roy initially returned to the family dairy farm before joining the Post Master General as a linesman, which he continued to do until his retirement in 1972.
Roy and Madge had 4 daughters and settled in Redcliffe Queensland.
