AUSTRALIA'S HEROES
Deep regret was expressed in Hamilton last evening when the sad news was received by Mrs. J. L. McLuckie that her husband, Private J. L. McLuckie, had died of pneumonia at the Sutton-Veny (England) military hospital on  October 17. Private McLuckie, who was the eldest son of Mr. and Mrs. R. McLuckie, of Hamilton, left Australia last July. He was a native of Hamilton, and took a prominent part in public affairs, being especially popular in cricketing and football circles. Private McLuckie leaves a wife and four young children, and for them and his parents the deepest sympathy is expressed.
