Matthew was born 28th April 1894 in Queensland and died 16th October 1964 in Toowoomba and is buried in the Drayton Cemetery Toowoomba.
His parents were George Michael and Julia Celia nee Gavin.
He married Mabel nee Honor.
His siblings attended the Logan Village School, therefore they are listed on the Museum Honour Roll.
