James Frederick LIMPUS was born in Brisbane, Queensland on 24th September, 1891

His parents were Joseph LIMPUS & Augusta Tina KAJEWSKI

He enlisted in Toowoomba on 9th February, 1916 and embarked from Brisbane on the HMAT Boorara on 16th August, 1916 with the 42nd Infantry Battalion, 2nd reinforcements

James died of wounds in the United Kingdom on 29th April, 1917 and is buried in Brookwood Military Cemetery in Surrey, England
