25 Jun 1915: Enlisted Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Sister, AANS, Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1)
17 Jul 1915: Embarked Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Sister, AANS, Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Embarked on HMAT 'A67' Orsova from Melbourne on 17th July 1915,
17 Sep 1915: Transferred Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Sister, Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1),
  • 17th September 1915 - posted to 1st Australian Auxiliary Hospital
  • 6th December 1915 - left 1st Australian Auxiliary Hospital on sick leave
  • 12th December 1915 - board recommended back to Australia for Home Service, stayed with friends
  • 7th February 1916 - sent to Hadley Wood Convalescent Home
  • 29th February 1916 - went to the country for a change
  • 4th March 1916 - following a report from Matron that Sister Vines was fit for service, posted to Grosvenor Square for trial duty
  • 10th June 1916 - leave
  • 26th June 1916 - resumed duty and left Grosvenor Square
  • 4th September 1916 - posted to 2nd Australian Auxiliary Hospital
  • 12th September 1916 - posted to Knapesbury Military Hospital
  • 3rd November 1916 - recalled to 2nd Australian Auxiliary Hospital
  • 12 Nov 1916: Embarked Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Sister, AANS, Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Embarked for return to Australia on duty aboard HMAT 'A18' Wiltshire from England on 12th November 1916.

    12 Jun 1917: Embarked Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Sister, AANS, Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Embarked on RMS Mooltan from Melbourne on 12th June 1917 disembarking Suez, Egypt on 19th July 1917. Embarked on "Gorgon" from Port Said on 26th July 1917, disembarking Salonika, Greece on 30th July 1917.
    30 Jul 1917: Transferred Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Sister, Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1),
  • 30th July 1917 - posted to 66th General Hospital
  • 29th August 1917 - admitted to 43rd General Hospital with dysentery
  • 4th October 1917 - transferred to Sisters Convalescent Camp
  • 18th October 1917 - discharged and rejoined 66th General Hospital
  • 5th November 1917 - posted to 52nd General Hospital
  • 18th March 1918 - Medical board recommended that as Sister Vines suffered Debility and Colitis as a result of Dysentery which was contracted in service and under circumstances which she had no control especially in a country where it is prevalent that she be invalided to Australia
  • 20 Mar 1918: Embarked Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Sister, AANS, Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Embarked from Salonika, Greece on 20th March 1918, disembarking Alexandria, Egypt on 25th March 1918. Emabrked for return to Australia on HMAT 'A18' Wiltshire from Suez, Egypt on 30th March 1918, disembarking Melbourne on 1st May 1918. Ironically the HMAT 'A18' Wiltshire was the same vessel that Sister Vines returned to Australia on in 1916.
    6 Aug 1918: Discharged Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Sister, AANS, Australian Army Nursing Service (WW1), Medical discharge.
