Jack Lee was a proud and private man..Jack was born in Granville NSW on the 31/10/1910..Jack spent his young life around that area,moving to Queensland in his mid teens,settling in the Nobby area,and later moving to the Millmerran district where he worked on farming properties..Jack joined the Army in June 1940..He served in Libya,Tobruk,El Alamein,until his discharge in June 1946...Jack then returned to the Millmerran district working on farming properties and also the forestry department in the western creek area,and also in the blackbutt and nanango district..Jack then returned to Millmerran area and worked for the forestry department up to 1959...Jack the left to go to Brisbane and worked for the Southern Electric Authority in the Power House which was located in the New Farm area...Jack lived in Merthyr Road in New Farm..Jack then worked as a cleaner in the SEA Head Office until his retirement in 1975..Jack lived in the New Farm area up to moving in to St Johns Hostel at Toowong..Then Jack moved to Beenleigh Hostel to be closer to his Daughter..Patricia and Family..Then again moving to Woodbeck Village...Then again moving to Connolly Court at Edens Landing where he lived and made friends with the staff and other residents until his death on 06/11/2002..
