Son of Benjamin Owens and Martha Owens nee Wallace of Whittlesea, Victoria.
Commenced return to Australia on 8 April 1919 aboard HT Trasos-Montes disembarking on 22 May 1919.

During 1922c Frank married Dorothy Gladys Lowman in Victoria
