Annie was the third of five children of Thomas Denis Molloy (b1877 in Dalby, QLD) and Agnes Gertrude Ryan (b1875 in Raymond, Terrace, NSW). Thomas (a Mechanic in Toowoomba, QLD) and Agnes married in Ipswich QLD in 1903. They lived in Toowoomba - where Thomas worked as a Mechanic and Machine Driller) until 1915 when he enlisted in the AIF (Trooper; Service No:2304). The family then moved to Ipswich and later Maryborough, QLD where Thomas worked as a Machine Driller.

Annie was living in Maryboough, QLD with her parents, and following her mother's death in 1943, enlisted in the Australian Army. Annie was a Private (Service No:QX58061) attached to 2 AWH when she was Discharged in June 1944.

Following her father's death in 1949, Annie married Reuben Ernest McKaskill (b1897 in Brisbane, QLD). Reuben - a Labourer - had served in WWI (Private; Service No:1720) and was severely wounded in France (Shell Wound - abdomen, leg and arm) - as a result of his injuries, Reuben was an Invalid Pensioner. Annie and Reuben lived in Boondall and Redcliffe where Annie died in 1960 and Reuben in 1962.
