Wentworth Lincoln EAST was born in Terragong, Shellharbour, NSW in 1889

His parents were John EAST & Elizabeth JARMAN

He enlisted in the Royal Agricultural Showgrounds in Sydney on 3rd April, 1916 and embarked from Sydney on the HMAT Anchises with the 35th Infantry Battalion, 3rd reinforcements on 24th August, 1916

Wentworth was Killed in Action during the battle of Messines in Belgium on 7th June, 1917 - no known grave

His name is memorialised on the Australian War Memorial and the Menin Gate Memorial
