Add my storyBiography contributed by Lesley Bryant
Bill, as he was known to the family, was a very kind-hearted man. He served in PNG and suffered with malaria as a result. He also served at Woomera involved in nuclear test preparations there. His health suffered. He and his wife, Elva, had no children and lived out their days around "Soldiers Point" and Kurri Kurri, NSW. He died 12/8/1989 and his ashes were scattered in general plot (no memorial) at Newcastle Memorial Park.
