Lance Corporal Stanley Arthur Gordon Pratt (Service No:205570) served in the ACMF with 6 Battalion VDC (QLD) from 19 April 1942 to 19 October 1945.

Stan was born in Kilcoy, QLD in 1918, eldest of five children of Edward Alfred Pratt (b1893 in Brisbane, QLD) and Alice Ollenburgh (b1895 at Sheep Station Creek via Kilcoy, QLD). Edward (a Labourer) and Alice married in 1916 in Kilcoy, where they settled and raised their family and Edward was a Labourer and Farmer. In the 1950's Edward and Alice moved to Caloundra, QLD where Edward was a Farmer, moving back to Kilcoy in the early 1960s. 

Stan worked as a Labourer in Kilcoy where, in 1941, he married Ida Hannah Pratten (b1920 in Kilcoy, QLD). Stan and Ida settled in Kilcoy, and Stan worked as a Labourer and Farmer. Stan died in 1991 and Ida in 2012.
