Private Graham Pratten (Service No:Q205571) served in the ACMF with 6th Battalion VDC (QLD) from 19 April 1942 to 19 October 1945.

Graham was born in Kilcoy, QLD in 1913, second of seven children of Ernest Theodore Pratten (b1875 in Samford, QLD) and Eliza Fredriksen (b1886 at 'Danewood Vale' via Kilcoy, QLD). Ernest (a Grazier) and Eliza married in 1909 in Kilcoy, where they settled and raised their family. Ernest was a Grazier/Dairy Farmer and also from the 1920s when Hancock & Gore Mill opened, hauled timber from his property to the mill by bullock team.

Graham worked as a Farm Labourer and Timber Getter in Kilcoy where, in 1943 he married Rose Lillian Ducan (b1920 in Villeneuve, QLD). Graham and Rose settled in Kilcoy, where they raised their family and Graham was a Labourer and Farmer. Graham died in 1989 and Rose in 2007.
