Lorna Mavis Robinson (nee Clay), Service No. QF143187. She was a member of the AWAS for three years, and described by friends during the war as a 'poster girl' for the service. Mrs Robinson's early duties included that of a driver; she was promoted to lieutenant in November 1943.
