Edgar Sankowsky was the elder brother of my mother, Jean Beatrice Isobel Stolz (nee Sankowsky), and son of Emil and Clara Sankowsky (nee Holzheimer). He was the second eldest of four children, Pat, Edgar, Tib and my mother.
Postwar, Edgar and Jean, his wife, ran a motel in Bundaberg during the 1950's and 1960's, and had two sons, William and Gregory and a daughter Judith.
