The details provided are taken from the book "Stealth Raiders - a few daring men in 1918" written by Lucas Jordan, published 2017, refer to page 269. Prior to the war he was a typist of Kew Vic. He enlisted 1st March 1915 aged 19 years. He served with the 5th Infantry Battalion, being promoted from the ranks to be a Lieutenant. Unfortunately, he was Killed in Action 6th June 1918. Rest in Peace.
