Son of Harry Newey Slaughter and Sarah Ann Slaughter, of Brisbane, Queensland; husband of Agnes Bowman Slaughter, of Harpenden, Hertfordshire, England.
P/O Slaughter F/Sgt. Hansen Mr. and Mrs H. N. Slaughter, Crowther Street, West End, have been advised that their younger son, Pilot/Officer Allan John Slaughter, RAAF, was killed in an aircraft accident at Ashton-Under-Hill, England, on July 16. He had completed a large number of operational flights over the Continent, and was serving in an Experimental Squadron at the time of his death.
