He married Gloria Monica STANLEY on 25th October, 1941 in Queensland
Emile died on 20th July, 2009 in Ayr, Queensland is buried in the Ayr Cemetery, Grave 1498C - late of the Lower Burdekin Home for the Aged, Ayr.
He served with the Royal Australian Engineers, Civil Construction Corp (11 Field Coy)
