Distinguished Conduct Medal
'For consistent good work and devotion to duty during the period under review, particularly during the Jericho, Amman, and Es Salt Operations, and the attacks on our line in the Jordan Valley on 11 April and 14 July, 1918. In addition he has performed good and consistent service with this division from the time it was formed, and during the whole of the operations in Sinai and Palestine. He has been on duty in the field with the division during every operation in which it has been engaged and his behaviour in action has always been an example of coolness and attention to duty.'
