Harold was born 1st October 1894 in Waterford. He died 16th August 1960 and is buried in the Balmoral Cemetery. His parents were Frederick Charles Tesch and Elizabeth nee Freine. He married Ethel Louise nee Green.
He enlisted on the 1st March 1917 in Brisbane and embarked on the 14th June 1917
He received the British War Medal and Victory Medal as well as the French Medal of Honour with swords (Silver) gazetted 15th December 1919, and the French Diploma Medaille D'Honneur received 8th July 1922.
WW11 Service Number Q302339 Warrant Officer Class 1.
He is listed on the Beenleigh War Memorial, Logan Village Museum Roll of Honour and the Queensland Garden of Remembrance.
His family are Pioneers of the District.
