Son of Frederick I. and Annie Gardner, of Goold St., Bairnsdale, Victoria

Pte. Frederick Gardner, only son or Mr and Mrs F. I. Gardner, of Bairnsdale, died of wounds on the 28th September, 1917, somewhere in France. He was a native of Bendigo, but had lived most of his life at Bairnsdale, where he enlisted on the 11th June, 1916. He was a carpenter by occupation.
