My name is Peter Wain.
I have searched many war records and believe that I have Walter's service medal.
It was given to me by my aunty when I was a child.
It was not until today that I found the name engraved on the side of the medal: "VX40508 W J VINE".
If this medal is Walter's I am happy for it to be returned to his family or the RSL.
