Son of Charles Falk (who also served with the 24th Battalion) and Isabella Falk nee Little of Ireland Street, West Melbourne, Victoria. Brother of Charles Thomas Falk who returned to Australia on 15 June 1919 having served with the 4th Machine Gun Company
