Reginald Frank TROWBRIDGE was born in Bournemouth, England in 1897

His parents were Frank TROWBRIDGE & Eva Sophia CRAWLEY who married in England in 1893

The family came to South Australia on 13th March, 1913 on the ship Orsova

He enlisted in Adelaide on 13th March, 1916 and embarked with the 27th Infantry Battalion, 13th reinforcements on 24th June, 1916 on the HMAT Bulla - he returned to Australia on 25th March, 1919 and was discharged on 3rd August, 1919 and died of Tuberclulosis on 13th April, 1927 at Myrtlebank, SA and is buried in the AIF Cemetery, West Terrace, Adelaide

His Brother Wilfrid TROWBRIDGE served in both WW1 (SN 2760) and WW2 (SN 122395) & returned to Australia - died 25th December, 1975 in Adelaide SA
