Private Reginald Raymond White (Service Nos:QX42852/Q151282) enlisted in the ACMF in November 1941 before enlisting in the AIF in October 1942. He served in New Guinea/Borneo with 12 Small Ships Coy and was attached to 41 Landing Craft Coy when he was Discharged in April 1946.

Born in 1922 in Brisbane QLD, Reg was the fourth child of Norman Clifford Sydney White (b1892 in Inverell, NSW) and Frances Annie Isabel Maxwell (b1892 in Maryborough, QLD). Norman (a Railway Worker) and Frances married in 1916 in Brisbane QLD where they settled and raised their family.  In the mid  1920s and early 1930s Norman was working for the Railways in Warwick and Townsville before returning to Brisbane in the mid 1930s.

In 1941 Reg was working as a Salesman for Butler Bros Pty Ltd in Brisbane QLD. Following his Discharge in 1946 he returned to Brisbbane, QLD where in 1947 he married Effie Dorothy Harvey (b1925 in Brisbane, QLD). Reg and Effie settled in Brisbane, QLD where Reg worked as a Clerk. Reg died in 1977 and Effie in 1989.
