Reginald Norman Mullins was born in Oxley, Victoria on 28 Aug 1923, the son of Alfred Mullins (railway employee) and Ethel Kirkham.
Reg served as a pilot in 460 Squadron RAAF and was awarded the DFC twice (21 Apri 1944, and the Bar to DFC on 15 Sep 1944).
At the end of the war he joined QANTAS as a pilot, working there until his retirement.
Reg was married to Patricia Gowan, who he married while based in England with 460 Sqn. Reg died in Canberra on 3 Feb 1986, aged 62.
Reg's brothers Leslie, Bert, Raymond and Frederick also served in WWII.
