William Murray Bath (1880- 1965). William first joined up as a soldier for the Boer War on the 6 Jan 1902. He was in the Second Australian Commonwealth Horse. On the 21 Feb 1905 he joined the Royal Navy for five years. He deserted in Sydney (May 1907) and lived for a long time in NSW before he returned to SA in his old age.
