10 Aug 1901:	Discharged Australian and Colonial Military Forces - Boer War Contingents, Private, 287, 4th Queensland Imperial Bushmen, AWM Boer War Unit Details, Murray p. 477 notes 4th QIB embarked 5 Jul 1901 aboard Britannic returning to Australia arriving Brisbane 5 Aug 1901, disbanded 10 Aug 1901.

Thomas Bendall was born on 8 Feb 1877 in Queensland, a son to Frederick Bendall and Emma Bendall (nee Hendley). He married Johanna Hansen on 19 Aug 1907 in Queensland and they had four children.
