Son of Morgan O'Donnell LEE and Jane Josephine nee SEXTON

LEE. — On the 9th of August, at his residence, No. 74 Arthur-street, Fairfield, Herbert John Lee (late Sapper, No. 2 Section, No. 2 Company, Australian Field Engineers, A.I.F.), the dearly loved son of Jane and the late Morgan O'Donnell Lee, and grandson of the late Morgan and Eliza Lee and Maurice  Sexton, of Ballarat, and loving brother of Morgan, Eileen (Mrs. C. Murphy), Henry, Eliza and Mary; aged  28 years.
Requiescat in pace.

THE Mother and Relatives of the late Sapper HERBERT JOHN LEE, A.l.F., first treasurer of the Returned Soldiers' Association, desire to THANK the  president, secretary, and comrades of the Returned Sailors and Soldiers' Imperial League of Australia; also kind friends for thoughtful expressions of  sympathy, visits, letters, telegrams, cards, and floral tributes; the Rev.
