William Robert Crump

William was born in Maryborough, Queensland and served in the Boer War with the 5th Queensland Imperial Bushman.
William married Annie Paterson Allison on the 13th of April, 1906 in Bombay, Auckland, New Zealand.

William Robert Crump was born on 2 Oct 1880 at Maryborough, Queensland, a son to William Cramp and  Mirinda Crump (nee Whayman). When he enlisted in 1901 in the 5th QIB he noted his N.O.K. as his mother Mrs. M. Crump, Maryborough.

After returning from the South African (Boer) War he emigrated to New Zealand around 1903 where he undertook farming operations and a blacksmith business. He married Annie Patterson Allison in 1906 in New Zealand and they had 5 children.
