Mr. Frederick Dawson, of Foy-avenue, Chelsea, a Boer War veteran, died at the age of 72 years, on Christmas eve. Mr. Dawson marched in the Anzac parade each year until three years ago when he had to stop because of ill-health. He was a farmer at Neerim, Korumburra and Birregurra before he retired a few years ago. He is survived by his wife, a son and a daughter.
